Together with Luminovo, Zollner Elektronik AG has launched the Rapid Sample prototyping portal, thus achieving a milestone in its internal digitalization strategy. The portal represents a digital online interface for interaction with Zollner, which also ensures flourishing collaboration from OEM manufacturers and EMS providers to distributors and chip manufacturers.
This process automation will save both effort and costs in the future – and that is not the end of the story. In the future, the customer portal will be extended to series production and the speed and transparency will be increased beyond the quotation request phase to other common points of contact between EMS providers and their customers, such as the monitoring of stock levels and the updating of demand forecasts.
