Every two years, the PCB Design Awards are presented by the Fachverband für Elektronikdesign und -fertigung (FED) for outstanding achievements. This year, Zollner Elektronik AG impressed the judges and was presented with an award at the annual conference in Ulm.
In the High Density category, Thomas Strunz, supported by Martin Krieger, Matthias Kufner and Diana Pritzel, won with a hardware accelerator board with STX chiplets, which is used in energy-efficient supercomputers. The design impressed the jury with its remarkable precision, careful construction and comprehensive documentation. The high requirements for reliability, electrical performance and cost-effective manufacturability were met, earning us this important industry award.
